Shopping in Lanzarote has a lot to offer if you are prepared to leave the main resorts of Puerto del Carmen, Costa Teguise and Playa Blanca. The best shopping is in Arrecife and you can see a taster is the pictures below. There are many traffic free areas, in particular Leon y Castillo, again below. The area has a definite Latin quality and is not at all touristy. Although the Euro and financial crises have made prices less cheap than they were, there is still a good selection of different goods, particularly in apparel.
